Rev. Sean Hachem

Rev. Sean Hachem

Hi. I'm Sean Hachem, the pastor here at Nellie Peters UMC. My wife Tricia and I are blessed to be serving at this great little church.

Since my appointment to Nellie Peters in June 2017, I have been praying and seeking God's will and purpose for this church. While I don't know exactly what it will look like in years to come, I believe God is creating a place of healing — a place where the rejected and abandoned will find acceptance and peace. I am exciting to see what God is doing in this little church.

God has burdened my heart with a desire to minister to the marginalized — particularly those in jails and prisons. God transformed my heart several years ago in a Georgia state prison while I served on a Kairos Prison Ministry team. I haven't been the same since. I continue to serve on Kairos teams at Walker State Prison. I was also blessed to serve as chaplain of the Bartow County Jail for a time.

I sincerely hope you will join us this Sunday. I'd love the opportunity to pray for/with you. Feel free to email me using the link below or just send me a text. You can also click on my picture to find me on Facebook.

"For I know the plans I have for you”—this is the Lord’s declaration—“plans for your well-being, not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. You will call to me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you search for me with all your heart." (Jeremiah 29:11-13 CSB)
